Drug-resistant TB (DR-TB) patients in Mozambique are suffering from serious but preventable drug toxicities such as hearing loss and arrhythmias due to the lack of simple monitoring tests. Project improves DR-TB treatment success rates by piloting and optimizing an innovative package of tablet based ECG and audiology tests to rapidly identify DR-TB patients with hearing loss and QTcF prolongation, and to put them on a better regimen.
