Implement and evaluate three distinct case finding strategies: 1) mass mobile radiography in the community, using computer-aided detection of TB (CAD4TB) software; 2) establish ‘fast track TB services’ in health facilities; and 3) ensure high coverage of contact investigations for both interventions. Operational research will analyse the cost effectiveness of these approaches and the usefulness of incorporating C-reactive protein (CRP) into the TB screening algorithm.
