Improve case detection and notification by: contact tracing of households and close contacts of index cases; microscopy camps in remote villages more than 2-hours walking distance from the nearest health facility; systematic screening by symptom questionnaire of hospital attendees; door-to door screening in dense slums; and raising TB awareness among hospital visitors though educational plays and discussion groups.
