Private care providers (private pharmacies, PPs and private hospitals) are first points of contact for majority of people in Afghanistan when they seek healthcare. Therefore, investing through an innovative model to engage PCPs in systematic screening of their attendants can result in sustainable and expanded accessibility to TB care, improved notifications and even better treatment outcomes.
